Please provide us with any thoughts and/or ideas you have about the service you would like to request from us. What are your basic goals for this project? (e.g., branding/identity reinforcement, improved access to information, direct sales, corporate communication, etc.) This can be a list of requirements or goals, a wish list, or simply questions that you may have. Basically, anything you feel that may contribute to your project's success.

A necessary factor in coming up with an estimate is the outline. What sections would you like to offer to your customers on the web site? Some very standard ones to start you off are. 5 Desired Features

Provide a list of desired features or enhancements in detail if possible, along with a site or sites with similar features.

Are there any non-HTML functional areas that will need to be developed? (e.g. web forms, databases, ecommerce, account logins, demos, audio/video, etc.) If so, please provide any specifications you may currently have about those areas.

6 Design Assets

Are there any design assets that are available for the project? (e.g. existing web sites, design guidelines, logos, color palettes, photography, artwork, fonts, etc.)

To what extent do you plan to be directly involved in the creative direction of your website design?

Alternately, to what extent are you prepared to entrust your design partner to provide that creative direction?

Are there any design constraints to be considered for this project? (e.g. colors, images, or treatments that should not be used)

7 Content

Where will content come from? Will it be new, repurposed, or both?

8 Content Publishing/Updating

Is the content ready for publication? If not, when will it be ready?

For web site projects, how often will you add or update content? Who will perform these updates? What areas of the web site will require the most updating?

9 Your Company Information

Briefly tell us about your company and your industry. If possible, also list your competitors (if any).

Additionally, list 5 adjectives that describe the personality of your company. Rank them in order of importance.

Finally, What do you want your company to be known for?

Briefly describe your customers. What needs do they have? What information do you want them to leave with?

11 Other Services Needed

Even if you only need a website right now, in the future you may want to consider doing business cards or adding a shopping cart. Before you rule that wish list out of your budget let us know everything you would like to do. In most cases asset can be reused and tasks made more efficient when projects are grouped together.
